Wednesday Pool Play

LPL Boys Water Polo
There were three dandies in the final round of LPL play. Santa Ynez wrapped up the regular season LPL Championship & the #1 seed in next weeks LPL Tournament. Cabrillo did the same with 3rd place. Meanwhile, the host Braves picked up their 1st LPL victory of the season and the #5 seed. [Note: Three LPL teams were ranked in CIF-SS Div VII for Boys Water Polo.]

A solid effort by GK David Barber helped the Braves out of the LPL basement.

Several Pirates remained undefeated in LPL play - Emily Ineman, and pairs Heather Vallekamp/ Mylee Curtis, Bianca Capasso/ Kylie Petersen.

Teams from Santa Barbara, Ventura, and LA counties gathered at the largest (24 squads) of four team divisionals in CIF-SS. LA snapped up all the goodies, however, capturing the top 4 spots to advance in the playoffs. Scores are for 18 holes, team scores are the best 5 of 6 competitors.
