Sarah Fouratt, Righetti Girls Golf
Sarah Fouratt, a freshman, played in three matches during the week.
With a partner on Monday, she competed in the 18-hole better-ball Lady Pirate Invitational at the Alisal River Course. They shot a 77 (She had a 79 individually) to finish 4th in a field of 19 from all over the Tri-County area. [Post] She was also the Medalist in the both of the Dual matches the Warriors had last week - carding a 37 Tuesday in a win over Santa Ynez and a 35 in Thurdays loss to Dos Pueblos.
Male Athlete of the Week
Justin Murillo, Righetti Water Polo
Justin Murillo was the leading goal scorer for the Warriors at the rugged ,3-day (Th-Sat), Santa Barbara Invitational Tournament. The competition featured some of the best teams in the country, including Mater Dei (Santa Ana). The Monarchs were ranked 2nd nationally by several publications, but lost in the final to defending CIF Division 1 champion Harvard-Westlake. Justin scored 12 goals to lead Righetti to a 3-2 record in the 24 team clash.
