California had a very good start to the season with 3 intersectional wins versus Hawaiian squads last weekend (Fri-Sat, August 18th/19th).

CIF Southern Section 'Week 0" contests for Northern Area related teams begin this week as listed in the "Football Slate" tab at the top right of the page.

The 73rd state ranked (#10 SS-Div 3) Lompoc Braves travel to Doug Hitchen Stadium to face the Arroyo Grande Eagles. The official game broadcast will be on the BRAVES RADIO NETWORK (KPEG, 100.9 FM) with Gregg Ratcliffe & Mike Loney.

Cabrillo hosts Frontier (Bakersfield) at Huyck Stadium. The radio station that covered Cabrillo football is not currently planning to carry the game.
