On Election Day we saw some teams selected, and others rejected for playoff participation.
Girls Tennis
The Perfecto is complete - the Santa Ynez Pirates rolled through the LPL, posting a 12-0 record. Santa Maria beat Morro Bay for the LPL's last guarantied play-off spot (4th), and Cabrillo wrapped up 2nd by crushing Nipomo. Lompoc completed the LPL pummeling of Mission Prep by the LPL. (Completely opposite of volleyball - see below.)

The LPL regular season concluded - the league individual finals start at 9 am on Friday with LPL Champion Santa Ynez hosting all teams at the Minami Center and the Hancock College courts in Santa Maria.

The Morro Bay Pirates have won 6 of their last 7 league contests, thoroughly scrambling the LPL race and creating a Thursday match-up at Cabrillo to determine 2nd - 4th fourth places in the LPL.

Nipomo won the National Breast Cancer Awareness Movement Dig Pink return match at Cabrillo after dropping one to the Conqs in round one. The Titans, like the Conqs in the prior match, overcame 1-2 set deficits, but were helped out by Cabrillo who had 19 hitting errors and 8 service errors.
