Football Broadcasts - Help !!!!

WE NEED YOUR HELP !!!!!

As we head into CIF play, a number of things change. The primary one involving the broadcasts is that we have to pay rights fees to CIF. Since TAP-TV is a city-owned, non-comercial venture, it would have to pay those fees out City of Lompoc budgeted funds, requiring council approval. Furthermore, as a non-comercial operation, TAP-TV cannot legally solicit sponsorship support to pay these CIF fees.

Therefore, the volunteer operated 'Lompoc Locker Room' has agreed to executive produce the broadcasts, which will allow the the TAP-TV Broadcast Center to provide support for the broadcast, but does not solve the problem of fees. The fee required to broadcast live video is prohibitively high - several $1000/ game. A much less costly option (several $1oo's per game) would be to return to the "AudioVision" broadcasts (Audio over TV) that we did in prior years. We are also exploring a tape-delayed video broadcast option.
