Wild Card, 1st Round, 2nd Round, 3rd Round [Regional Sites]
[4 Sites: Cate (Singles)/Carp. (Doubles), The Claremont Club, The (Newport Beach)
Tennis Club, and Whittier Narrows (South El Monte)]
The site of most interest to the tri-counties was the dual-site set-up at Cate & Carpenteria. Singles matches & the two Wild Card doubles contests were held at Cate School, while the rest of the doubles contests were held down the hill at Carpenteria. Schools represented came from SLO/SB/Vent counties, and the Valencia and South Bay areas of LA County.
Competition in the single elimination tournament started with 2 Wild Card matches in both doubles and singles with the winners advancing into the 32 contestant main draw
{Very Limited Information}
The results currently available are scarce and unreliable, but it would appear that all of the local and area players have been eliminated. A few of the regional players are reputed to remain.

Nogales 15, Santa Ynez 8
Santa Ynez : 1, 2, 3, 2 - 8
Nogales - 6, 4, 4, 1 - 15
The most succesfull season in Pirate polo history concluded, not with a bang, but with a whisper. Santa Ynez fell behind 6-1 in the 1st period, trailed 10-3 at halftime, and was never able to make up the deficit, despite closing the gap with two quick Lucas Lastra goals to start the third.
The Pirates (27-7-1) fell in their first ever finals appearance, after winning in only their second ever semifinal (2003). The Nobles (31-2) notched their 21st consecutive victory and first ever title, behind a potent early offense and another great performance (14 saves) by junior goalkeeper Christian Ortiz.
Daniel Morales led all scorers with 6 for Nogales. Santa Ynez senior Elijah Ozimec had 5 goals for the Pirates, William Mann had 4 saves.
Ozimec is one of the 5 starters and 7 total seniors on the Pirates squad.
