It is against both California State Law and Lompoc Unified School District policy to bring firearms onto school property. On Friday night, however, the Braves football squad apparently found one at Huyck Stadium - and used it repeatedly to shoot themselves in the foot.It was a tough weekend all-around for the Tri-Counties as area teams were 2-5 in CIF Semifinal and Finals action, including 1-3 at home. The only remaining squads are Mission Prep (San Luis Obispo) and Nordoff (Ojai).
