Cate Regional -19 November 2012

The CIF-SS search for champions turned from the completed team competition to the search for the Individual and Doubles Titlists on Monday. Cate School hosted one of 5 regional sites at their place and the nearby Carpinteria HS campus. The Cate Regional included all the area (Tri-County) competitors as well as those from portions of northern LA County. There were 29 singles competitors and 29 doubles pairs contending for 4 places of each type in the next stage of the playoffs. Third sets consisted of a 1st to 10 'Superset' tiebreaker, tiebreakers in earlier sets were still to seven.

Singles
The four players that advanced were Savannah Ware (Thousand Oaks), Christine Maddox (Santa Monica), the USTA's #14 ranked player on the National 16 and under list, Maral Tavitian (Westridge), and Julia Goldberg (Harvard-Westlake).
