This was a LARGE meet with some 20 races at various levels, involving teams from a handful of states (Including Texas, Nevada, Idaho), and all over California. From within California, 49 of the top 100 state-ranked teams competed, along with 47 of the top 100 state-ranked individuals!
In addition to the individual race results, the organizers compiled an "Overall" list of all competitors according to gender.

There were several teams from the Northern Area involved, but the two of the most interest were Cabrillo (Div 3) and Morro Bay (Div 4).
The best result of the day was turned in by the Great Oak girls squad who posted the 3rd best all-time total for the Woodward Park course - 89:43. This is the same circuit used for the State Championship meet for the last few decades.
The best performance by a Pac-8/LPL runner was a 2nd place finish by San Luis Obispo's William Ernst (15:57). He was topped by All-State returnee Jack Van Scoter (15:51), even though JVS turned the wrong way and lost 7 seconds and finished 10 seconds back of his WP personal-best time 15:41 (Last Years State Meet). Ernst was also well off his WP best time of 15:38.
