Female Athlete of the Week 

Vanessa Valencia, Santa Maria Volleyball
Vanessa played well (7 kills, 3 blocks) against LPL powerhouse Morro Bay in a 3-0 loss versus on Tuesday, and followed that up by leading (7 kills, 8 blocks) the Saints to their 1st LPL win of the season Thursday 3-1 over Orcutt Academy.


Male Athlete of the Week  

Mondo Mansera, Pioneer Valley Football
Mondo was a primary factor in the Panthers Homecoming 38-20 win over Cabrillo. He scored 4 TDs (runs of 20,86, & 16 yds, plus a 36 yd reception), while racking up 218 yards on 25 attempts. It was the 1st League or Homecoming win in several years.
