OK, Your Break Is Over

The Braves split a pair of games on day 1 and face two more today. In rematches against teams they lost to in earlier tournaments, they were able to turn the tables on one.

Day 1 (Monday, 27 Dec 2010)
Lompoc 64, Pioneer Valley 62 {Story}
[Lompoc: 18, 8, 19, 18 - 64 ; Panthers: 9, 15, 18, 12 - 62 ]

Lompoc picked a really good time to start hitting some free-throws, while the Panthers went cold. The Braves improved to 60% in the 4th quarter, as PV went from from 86% through 3 periods to 33 % in the last one.

The Dons surged out to a big 1st quarter lead, and then substituted freely. The teams played about even the rest of the way.

The host Warriors had no problems with the not-so-tall (no-one over 5-7) Colts. The visitors are coached by Harold's daughter Erin.
