On Friday, teams are placed into 3-team pools and each team plays the other 2 squads in its pool for placement and seeding into Saturday's brackets.
Saturday, teams are placed in one of several brackets (Gold, Silver, etc) for a one loss tournament starting at the quarterfinals. Teams that lose early on Saturday may also arrange a 'friendly' for later in the day as fields become available.
