Cross Country 

Los Padres League Final 
at the River Park Course, Lompoc 

NOTE: This just a brief summary - much more is coming!!

A number of different prizes at stake on Wednesday at River Park. There were the victories for the individuals in each race (GJV,BJV,GV,BV) of course, with the added distinction for the Varsity runners having a shot at an Individual LPL Championship, All-League honors, and Medals. 

There were also such matters as the LPL Team Championship,since the results of today's race would be combined with the results of the Duals Meet to crown the Champs and determine the final league standings.   

The biggest prize, though, was the much desired automatic team and for a few runners, individual qualification to the CIF-SS Prelims. 

Varsity Medal winners, All-League Teams, and League Champions 

The top 14 finishers in each varsity race were awarded medals and won selection to the All-Los Padres Athletic League Cross Country Teams. Finishers 1 to 7 were denoted the First Team and 8-14 as the Second Team. The top finisher in each varsity race also became the LPAL Individual Cross County Champion.
