Rain, Reign, and Snow (?) (15 Dec 2016)

The Soccer slate was rained out. Girls basketball simply reigned, while the boys () . Cabrillo water polo was sunk at the pool  And there is a "Snow Day" scheduled.


RECREATION 

"Snow Day" Planned (23-24 Dec 2016)

Local business are planning to import some 20 tons of snow from the Glacier Ice Co (SLO) for a free, public, and festive 2-day event just before the holidays. 

Lompoc City Councilman Jim Mosby (801-2362)with some assistance from the Lompoc Chamber of Commerce, is hosting the event on his property adjacent to River Park on the East side of town.

In addition to the snow, the plan is to have Santa Claus on-site, as well as holiday decorations, hot chocolate and coffee. Story

These two teams faced off earlier this season in the semi-finals of the Mistletoe Classic (Newbury Park), the Warriors taking a 4-3 overtime victory. 

Thursday they duplicated that score by halftime, with Cabrillo scoring thrice in the first, and the Warriors 4 times in the second. Righetti slowly expanded the lead to 6-4 at the end of the 3rd period, then doubled the margin in the 4th. Cabrillo has been outscored 8-2 after halftime in the two games.

The Bulldogs were the recipients of a very big night from a small Knight as 5'6" sophomore guard Syenna Ramirez from St Joseph HS helped them to their 6th straight win in the Tourney opener. Frosh Grace Rosa, a Paso grad, had her third double-double of the season. Both had a season high 19 points.
