Had 11 kills and 14 digs to help rally the Pirates from a 2 set deficit in a CCT match versus San Luis Obispo.
Male: Mike McCoy (Santa Ynez), Football
He was practically a one-man gang for the Pirates in a 42-0 win over the Carpinteria Warriors. He ran for 202 yards and 3 TDs, passed for 224 yards and 2 TDs, kicked 6 extra points (6-6), and had an interception while playing defense.
4 September - 10 September
Female: Mary Kavaloski (Santa Ynez), Tennis
The defending LPL Champ showed that her skills had not atrophied over the summer. She swept 3 sets without dropping a game in the Pirates 14-4 win in their league opener at Morro Bay.
Male: Cody Perry (Cabrillo), Football
Was instrumental in the Conqs initial victory, a 22-15 win over previously undefeated Santa Maria. Offensively, he rushed for 181 yards and 2 TDs. He also had a big game on defense, including a crucial tackle inside the 1 yard-line as Cabrillo held the Saints scoreless on a goal-stand.
