Boys Soccer
Cabrillo 3, Templeton 0
[Halftime 1-0]
Cabrillo controlled the game throughout, but needs to "slow down and be patient" according to Head Coach James Baca. He pointed out that the Conqs only had 1 goal  on 13 1st half shots, but netted 2 on just 8 shots in the 2nd. Baca was happy with the return of Center-Midfielder Francois Molitor from injury, and the defensive efforts of Connor 'Boomer' Duffey and Jose Diaz.

Eagles Head Coach Richard Sullenger thought his team "played well in pockets", but particularly liked the "really smart" play of defender Eric Lahargou.

Conqs [5-5-2, 3-0]: Goals (Assists) - Eduardo Cardenas (Boomer Duffey), Kenji Moua (Kyle Townsend), Misha Pantueshento (None). Saves - Michael Lowes [80 min] 8 (2 'Quality').
Eagles [1-7-2, 0-4 LPL]: Goals (Assists) - NONE. Saves - Erik Yamagata 4.

Junior Varsity
Cabrillo 5, Templeton 0
Most of the field was unnecessary - they mostly just needed the area in front of the Eagles net. Head Coach Oscar Torres was really pleased with the play of  his defensive back-line - Isaac Sanchez, Daniel Godinez, Randy Rosales, Chad Decker, and Odonis Osua.
Conqs : Goals - Jimmy Segura, Raymond Walters, Josh Miller, Seyia Shin, Riqui Cardenas.  Assists  - Steven Eisen, Marcus Rodriguez, Lucas Thacker. Saves - Edwin Casteneda [80 min] None.

Girls Soccer

Nipomo 2, at Lompoc 1
[Halftime 1-1]
Dani Diaz struck in the middle of the 2nd half - a half that saw Lompoc post zero shots on goal.
Titans [6-5-2, 4-0 LPL]: Goals (Assists) - Christina Ozzimo (None), Dani Diaz (Christina Ozzimo). Saves - Yocelyn Lopez 3.
Braves : Heidi Cortez (None). Saves - Aubrey Ogden "a minimum of 15" according to Head Coach Jose Acosta.

Junior Varsity
Lompoc 1, Nipomo 0
A repeat of a 1-0 double OT game at the recent Righetti Tournament ended with the same score, but finished quicker. Regular starter at GK for the Titans, Kate Russell (Concusion) and her backup were both out, so Nipomo went with 2 girls who had played some in goal during mop-up time in their youth league contests.
Braves : Goal (Assist) - Arianna Ruiz (Larissa Hilario).
