The LHS Varsity had their hands full Tuesday night, squeezing out a 3-2 [25-18, 15-25, 26-28, 25-21,15-12] win over a very game Alumni squad. Head Coach Savella's Alumni was more numerous, taller, stronger, and more experienced than current Head Coach Aaron Batula's Varsity, but the youngsters were able to maintain their poise and pulled out victories in the last two sets. It was a great training session for the Varsity, and a lot of fun for the "old timers".

The JV team was split in two and played three sets [25-14, 25-11, 15-6]. Look for the LPL Volleyball Preview next week.

LPL Girls Golf

Santa Ynez teed off against Santa Barbara in a 9 hole match-up at Birnham Wood Country Club, falling 254-263. The Pirates' Madison Shean (38) was the Medalist.
