Cabrillo JV vs St. Joseph (@ Hancock JC)
Last week the small St. Joseph team visited the Lompoc Valley and competed against the Cabrillo varsity at the COLAC. On Tuesday, the same group morphed into the JV as Jeff Dacus took his junior Conq contingent to the Santa Maria Valley to do battle at Hancock College. The locals fell "13 or 14 to 3" according to the coach, but he wasn't really concerned about the score. He spent much of his time allotting playing time for all 29 of his charges and doing player evaluation in game situations. The JV competes this Friday & Saturday at the Righetti JV Tournament.
