So where did you spend Monday afternoon ?

Nipomo vs Lompoc(at La Purisima Golf Club) [Front 9, Par - ]
Nipomo 281, Lompoc 300
The Titans remained undefeated in LPL Duals (3-0) this season with a good performance on a beautiful but somewhat breezy afternoon in the Lompoc Valley. Lompoc fell to 2-1 in league head-to-head match-ups.

The Braves were still missing two regulars - Sarandon Vickery & Kayla Doran, but posted their best score of the year on their home course. Lompoc has been trying to break 300 at home and they had a best score of 241 waiting for the last foursome to finish. Ivette Ordaz led in the last Braves pair with at 59 to hit 300 on the nose.

Nipomo's Christine Delaby (51) was the Medalist. She is the daughter of Nipomo Coach Jim Delaby, who was the 2nd ever course pro at La Purisima back in the 1980's.

The Braves were led by a thoroughly disgusted with herself Mackenzee Chambers, who shot a very respectable 53. She, however, battled putting problems throughout the session that cost her a shot at a round in the 40's and pars on several holes.

Medalist: Christine Delaby 51

Cabrillo vs Santa Maria
(at Cypress Ridge Golf Course, Nipomo)

Cabrillo 263, Santa Maria 309

This match saw the unlikeliest of occurrences from the unlikeliest of sources. Santa Maria's #6 golfer - part-time varsity player Jessica Estevez, had a hole-in-one on the 136 yard, par-3, 3rd hole. The girls in her foursome missed the ball flight, and were searching for the ball around the green, when some-one finally looked in the cup.

Estevez was reportedly a bit shaken when informed after the round of the time-honored tradition of a player scoring a one buying drinks for everyone at the clubhouse.

Cabrillo (3-0) kept pace with Nipomo for the LPL lead, while Santa Maria dropped to 0-3 in LPL Dual contests. Gaby Baumgardener medaled for the Conqs with a 44, followed by Bailee Gregory (49). Diana Ordaz posted a 57 to lead the Saints.
