In state junior college play El Camino blew away Orange Coast 42-13 Saturday night as BOO JACKSON threw four touchdown passes. Jackson completed 13 of 22 tosses for 192 yards with no interceptions. Now with 103 completions in 158 tosses for 65.2% and 1727 yards plus an 18-3 TD/interception ratio Jackson’s quarterback efficiency rate has risen to 190.8. When the state rankings were last updated (three weeks ago) Jackson narrowly trailed state leader Jacob Bowers of Bakersfield 190-188.6. Bowers gave up two interceptions to Hancock Saturday night so it is likely Jackson leads the state.
