BRAVE PERSONAL APPEARANCES
Four prominent members of the undefeated Lompoc High football team will meet the public and sell discount coupon books on Saturday
Favi Vargas, Jake Morehart, Saul Dominguez and Bobby Collins will be at The Shack, 1313 North H Street, next to the 99-Cent Store, beginning at 1 p.m. They will be joined by Lompoc Locker Room host Mike 'Statmeister' Loney.
The players will also have color photographs by Russ Samaniego available for autographing. Favi Vargas (45) carries in the picture above.
NEW FOOTBALL GAME SITE FOR FRIDAY
For those of you who haven't heard yet, the Braves game on Friday will not be at Valley Stadium. Lompoc, ranked 10th in the CIF Northern Division, will, instead, help DP christen the brand spanking new 'Scott O'Leary Stadium' on the campus of DPHS. To get there: take the the Glen Annie / Storke road exit off the 101, turn left under the freeway and drive north on Glenn Annie. Turn left on Cathedral Oaks Road, and then left on Alameda Ave. . Finally, try and find a place to park. Good luck and remember that the game starts at 7 pm not 7:30. - el stato
