Head coach Aaron Batula summed it up with - "Yeeech, forget that second set". Lompoc continued to show improvement, but was unable to break through for a set win. After a decent opener, the Braves briefly reverted to prior bad form in the second frame. Fortunately, the Braves showed some of their new-found resilience, and rallied to put a bit of a scare into the visiting Eagles in game three. The Eagles were trying a new offensive (5-1) set

Braves: Tawny Nunes - 5 kills, Danielle Hamon - 12 assists, Jesslyn Brundy - 4 blocks. Erika Slikker had 5 kills, and, according to Batula, an "incredible" 12 digs.
