Boys Basketball Tournament [6-8 December]

There are 4 boys basketball tourneys involving area teams this week - The Taro Kobara (AG), Coast Union, Fillmore, and Ojai Valley Classic.

40th Taro Kobara Boys Basketball Tournament

at Arroyo Grande HS
Taro Kobara, an AG grad and major supporter of this tournament and Arroyo Grande athletics in general, passed away last September (Sun, 18 Sep. 2011) at the age of 88.

Hoover had a big 4th quarter to overtake the Bearcats. Hoover also started quickly racing out to a 10-1 lead, but PR managed to close the gap to 2 at the end of the 1st.
