Girls Soccer

at Lompoc HS

St. Joseph 3, Lompoc 0
[Halftime: St Joseph 1, Lompoc 0]

The Knights stayed undefeated at Huyck Stadium Tuesday evening, and have outscored their opposition 19-1. The Braves actually had the second best result of any team against St Joseph this season, and played well enough defensively to have a shot, but had almost no traction on the offensive end.

The visitors controlled the ball much of the 2nd half and peppered Lompoc GK Audrey Ogden with 24 shots. Not all of them were on goal , of course, but many of them were. Ogden finished with 11 saves, 6 in the 2nd half. In comparison, GK  Dana Bouquet, had only 2 saves for the Knights. Both were quite late in the 2nd half, and neither was particularly difficult.

Knights [5-0]: Goals - 39th Min: Ellen Will (Monique Brunello); 48th Min: Monique Brunello (Ellen Will) 75th Min: Jenna Cusack Shots - Monique Brunello 9, Ellen Will 4, Kaileen Cruden 3, Jenna Cusack 2; 6 others with 1 each. Saves - Dana Bouquet (80 min) 2.
Braves [2-3]: Goals - None. Saves - Audrey Ogden (80 min) 11.
