Lompoc Bulldogs are Standouts

One college which seems to receive less than its share of notice is our own Allan Hancock College.

And who are among the leaders in most every AHC sport? Lompocans!

Just last week in cross country ARIANA FABING was AHC's top finisher in the Howard Brubaker SoCal Preview in Santa Ana. In the 5K women's race Fabing clocked 22:41 to finish 91st among more than 200.

In men's soccer at LA Mission College Friday afternoon goalie OMAR PIMENTEL made two spectacular saves to post the team's first shutout of the season as the Bulldogs stopped the Missions 2-0. AHC is now 2-1-1 in Western State Conference play, 6-7-1 overall.

And in baseball, which is in its offseason practice period, catcher/third baseman CORY DOTZLER has joined pitchers KIRK FRIDRICH, JOEY GREEN and EVAN FIELDS in preparing for the spring.
