Mets win 8-2 over the Phillies with Churchie contributing a single to spark a 6-run rally. He goes 1-for-3 to keep his BA at .333 (9 for 27), second high on the team.
AND NO "UNNAMED CLUB OFFICIAL" IS BLASTING HIM for not hitting enough home runs. In fact a quick look at the top seven Mets BLOGS show that NOBODY is badmouthing him. What a strange and wonderful feeling that must be to have Washington in his rear view mirror. Go Ryan!
