Chalupa Champ Kirsten Rasmussen It was a festive atmosphere on North "H" St, with the LHS Drumline on hand, and a small but revved-up crowd. The rules were simple - each relay contestant had to eat a taco in order, then the process was repeated with a second taco, followed by one member of each team wiping out a Super XXL Chalupa. The competition was a bit one-sided, however. Cabrillo's Kristen Rasmussen shoved down her 1st taco to help stake the Conqs to an early one taco lead, increased to two late in 2nd round. Rasmussen then absolutely devoured the Chalupa to win both the Challenge and the MVC (Most Valuable Chomper) designation. Lompoc may have been hampered by having an all rookie squad.The Teams [Coaches]
