Football: Semifinal on TAP-TV

It has been confirmed that TAP-TV will be covering the Lompoc/Serra CIF Semifinal on Friday. The LIVE webcast is slated to be both audio and visual.  Further details will be included in any updates here.

If When Lompoc wins, the final will be away at either Chaminade or Cathedral. [Chaminade beat Cathedral 62-26 in a Mission League game on 2 November, so expect the Eagles.] Most of the prognosticators have Serra favored by about 9-10 points.

Unfortunately, FoxSports has exclusive rights to the final. Last year Fox broadcast one game live, and showed several others on a delayed basis.  Typically, on Friday nights, they have 1 live TV game, 1 delayed TV game, and 4 live webcast games. It is unlikely that they would put Lompoc on either of the TV games, since, last year, they only had a web archived version of the Lompoc/Cabrillo final. Despite replays of other finals on TV, their has never been, to my knowledge, any TV showing of that final.

The link to the game will be posted on the City's TAP-TV website.
