The local schools had two events whose results have not yet been reported, as for the others - it was a pretty good Tuesday. Three wins, one loss, and a sister-kisser.
In LPL Baseball there were numerous big innings and rallys as the LPL beat up on the PAC-7, while there were shutouts in 4 of the 5 LPL softball games.

Kim Daur apparently does not like losing. In her 4th outing of the season she had 10 K's, and allowed only 2 hits en route to her 3rd complete game shutout.

Aaron Naputi had a 5 hit complete game, and Zach Pecyna went 2-3 with an RBI double. The second run was scored on a double steal.

The Braves used Daniel Mallory's 3-run homer as part of a 7 run 5th inning that broke open a 3-3 tie. Cody Berryman gave up 3 hits and his first earned run of the season in five innings.

There were 5 sweeps in this one - 3 by LHS and two by the Eagles. Robert Rodriguez, Lompoc #1 Singles, was 6-2, 6-4, 6-0, while the top two doubles units, Alex Jensen / Joel Martin (18-0 in games) and Cooper Barrick / Kyle Thumm both rolled. Templeton singles player Jeff Eisenmann (6-1, 6-2, 6-3), and doubles combo Sam & Ben Rubin (6-3, 6-3, 6-3) scored the visitors points.

The Conqs got points from doubles - two each from Arjun Ayyar / Jordan Daniels and David Terrones / Jeff Rodriguez. All three St Joe singles players (Jake Eszes, Hayes Dunn, Tyler Chamness) swept, as did #1 doubles James Xing / Jacob Goeres.
Santa Maria 9 (82), @ Morro Bay 9 (75)
The Saints won their first league match in several years by a 7 game margin. Every Saint scored, but singles players Elias Murillo [#1], Johnny Lazaro [#3], and doubles tandem Diego Sanchez / Josue Cardoza each scored two.

All the sets were close but the Tigers pulled out their first victory over the Pirates since SLO started their program in 1998. Pirate leaders in the loss were Jon Bridgeman (16 kills, 4 blocks), Dakota McIntyre (8 digs, 6 kills), and Andrew Wolinski (7 kills).
