Water Polo Awards, Scores, All-Star Hoops, Dosa Update

Rachel Nelson

To absolutely no-one's surprise the LPL announced that Cabrillo senior Rachel Nelson had been named the girls water polo Most Valuble Player for the 2009 season. Also to no-ones surprise, the All-LPL group looks a lot like the Cabrillo roster (8 players named) - several other locals were also named to the various squads.

In addition, the hoops battles are not yet finished - the annual game between competitors from SLO County & northern Santa Barbara County remains to be contested. Matches invoving locals in both the boys and girls games.

Today we also take a peek, at the season so far for Courtney Dosa [LHS] playing JC ball in Missourri.

But first a few scores -
