Lompoc
There is a pattern here - and not a good one. Win one BIG at home on Friday (15-0 over SLO last weekend, 22-2 over Coast Union this weekend), and lose on Saturday at the Suzanne Manlet Tournament in Simi Valley. Granted, last week it was only once, a 5-0 loss to the hosts, to go along with a 7-0 victory against Palmdale. But this time the Braves were felled twice - first by Oak Park 6-1, then 9-6 by Dos Pueblos.

Game 1: Lompoc got their run in the top of the first inning, but Oak Park rallied for 5 in the bottom of the second and tacked on another on the 5th.
Game 2: The Braves scored 3-2-1 in the fourth through sixth, but gave up a big inning - the 6 run sixth. Along with 2 in the third and one in the bottom of the eighth.

Cabrillo, Santa Maria, & Santa Ynez were in action at the Cabrillo Tournament [Story].

Baseball

Cabrillo split a couple of one-run games with Carpenteria - winning 9-8, then dropping the second 3-2.
